We decided after finishing the new Exodus theme that it would benefit all to improve our support resources. The first task was to improve Common Questions by expanding and reorganizing them.
I started using a new service recently and had about ten questions over the course of a few days. I was delighted to find they were all answered in a neatly organized and searchable section of their website. This is the experience we want to provide for you.

There are many church WordPress themes available today. You might think the only difference is how they look. After all, that’s what WordPress themes are supposed to be for — giving your church website a certain appearance. But there is more to consider when choosing a church WordPress theme.
Here are some questions to get answers for when looking at any church WordPress theme. Some answers may be easy to find. Others may require asking the theme seller specific questions.
How easy will it be for you to switch WordPress themes in the future? Most theme users probably don’t ask themselves this question. Why would you? WordPress lets you switch themes with a few clicks so things should work smoothly. But that’s only the case if your theme was developed following WordPress standards in order to avoid the lock-in effect.
Much has been written for WordPress theme developers on the lock-in effect while hardly anything has been aimed at theme users like you to explain what the lock-in effect is and how to avoid it. I feel this is necessary because there are still many themes built without consideration for your ability to switch in the future.

Our first two themes and the plugin they rely on for content have been updated. The changes are minor improvements and bug fixes. All users are recommended to run the latest version of themes, plugins and WordPress.

Exodus has the same church-focused features as our first theme but with a very different style. Our goal is to offer a wide variety of themes for churches so that there is something to suit every need. Resurrect is geared toward churches that want a sort of urban feel while Exodus is designed to have more of a modern, mainstream appeal.
Two things that stand out are its flat design and wide layout.
