Updates for WordPress 5.7, Better Accessibility, Bug Fixes and Easier HTTPS

WordPress 5.7 is just around the corner. We’ve tested against a release candidate to ensure our themes and plugins are ready. Only a few small changes relating to blocks were necessary for maintaining compatibility. We took this as an opportunity to also improve accessibility and fix several bugs that were recently reported.

To see the specific changes, go to our theme documentation and choose your theme. You can scroll down to the change log for details. None of our plugins required an update for WordPress 5.7 compatibility. You will only need to update your theme and that is an easy thing to do.

Updating is simply a matter of going to Dashboard > Updates in your WordPress admin area. You may update before or after WordPress 5.7 is released. If you have questions, please let us know and we’ll be glad to help.

PS. WordPress 5.7 will make it easier to switch to HTTPS/SSL. This is a good thing to do if you have not already. Get an SSL certificate from your host (usually free) and see this article on how WordPress can help make it work smoothly on your site.
