You can use the Child Pages template to automatically list your ministries. Here’s how.

Ministries Page

Child Pages TemplateFirst you need to create a page that will list all of your ministries.

  1. Go to Pages > Add New.
  2. Enter a title and any content that you want to appear at the top of the ministries list.
  3. Under Page Attributes, set Template to “Child Pages”.
  4. Optionally set a Featured image (see Section Banners for related information) 
  5. Click Publish.

Adding Ministries

Child Pages AttributesNow add a page for each of your ministries.

  1. Go to Pages > Add New.
  2. Enter the ministry’s title and content
  3. Under Page Attributes, set Parent to your ministries page (which uses the “Child Pages” template).
  4. Use the Order field to control the order in which your ministries are listed.
  5. Optionally set a Featured image to represent your ministry.
  6. Click Publish.

The child-parent relationship is represented in this way when going to PagesAll Pages. The theme will present the ministries in a way similar to sermons, blog posts, etc.
