Yes, Church Content Pro is an add-on for the Church Content plugin so both plugins must be active.
If you upgraded to Church Content Pro and had been using the Custom Recurring Events add-on, you can delete Custom Recurring Events. Church Content Pro replaces it, doing all the same things and more.
