WordPress 5.3 has been released. Today we’re releasing updates for all themes that make them compatible with WordPress 5.3. We recommend that you update your theme, the Church Content plugin and WordPress to keep everything working nicely together.
New versions of WordPress generally do not break themes or plugins. However, as the new Gutenberg editor progresses, it often becomes necessary for WordPress to make changes to blocks that can affect a theme’s appearance. Your subscription helps us keep our themes up to date and working with the latest versions of WordPress.
How to Update
Go to Dashboard > Updates to update WordPress, your theme and the Church Content plugin. If you need any help, contact us.
Changelogs
Nearly all of the changes relate to the Gutenberg block editor. A couple other changes are a fix for the mobile menu on Android devices with the Chrome browser and Dropbox URL support in audio and video sermon fields.
