Why is my recurring event showing on the calendar every day?

Instead of using the End Date field, use the Recur Until date. The End Date field is for an event that spans multiple consecutive days (e.g. Vacation Bible School June 20 – 24). The Recur Until field is for ending recurrence after a certain date (e.g. an event recurring weekly until December 15).
